I love doing fall cards! I've been getting some good mileage out of my Spellbinders Nestled Maple leaves with this batch of fall cards, they are so darn fun. :) On this card, it's hard to tell exactly how it's composed. First of all, I punched a large leaf in the FRONT of the card. I stamped the sentiment and the light text background. Then I layered a swirled Hambly transparency behind it and then layered dark brown cardstock behind that on the inside of the front of the card. Then I turned the card over the right way and adhered a medium glittered leaf on the front with a pop dot.
On my next card, I wanted it to look a little more distressed, so I cut leaves of different sizes. I cut some with adhesive backing so I could peel off the paper and sprinkle glitter over the top. On the large leaf in front, I sprayed it with Tattered Angels and stamped the image. The large letters are an old stamp set (I don't have the brand info), the "thanks" and the damask background is from Papertrey Ink. I added some machine stitching and Prima pearls as well.
More to come, TFL!
